Ventilex Fluid Bed Dryers and Coolers are ideally suited for the most exacting food grade applications. Our food drying equipment is manufactured completely in stainless steel and all product contact parts are welded and polished. The quick-acting closures and integrated CIP (Clean in Place) systems make the installation easy to disassemble and clean.
At the center of the Ventilex food drying system is our unique shaking product transport system. This “Plug Flow” system gently lifts the product, by cam motion, and deposits it forward a few fractions of an inch at a time. Product retention time can be kept to a minimum or can be as high as two hours. The gentle lifting and shaking action ensures that little or no product degradation will occur. This “Plug Flow” process enables processing of fragile materials that may degrade under the high abrasion conditions seen in most vibratory food drying equipment.
Ventilex systems are ergonomically designed, taking up less space. Low energy consumption and minimal product loss make Ventilex Fluid Bed Drying Systems preferable to traditional belt drying and vibratory systems. All Ventilex systems come standard with PLC controls and MMC control panel. The PLC-controlled system integrates the latest in dryer controls technology with state of the art instrumentation combined to produce consistent process output. The availability of Data Logging provides proof that your food products are processed at the proper times and temperatures.
