The key to both the effectiveness and the affordability of the Ventilex Continuous Pasteurizer is in the distribution of super-heated saturated steam.  We have designed a special distribution plate that fluidizes the product to be pasteurized, allowing all product surfaces to be treated equally. Steam then condenses on the surface of the product, and the condensation energy transfer kills unwanted pathogen or bacteria.

The Continuous Pasteurization System recognizes that treatment times, temperatures, and pressures are critical in treating products. The times, temperatures, and pressures can be set for each product and each pathogen to be destroyed.  Ventilex understands that repeatability is required in order to validate a system, ensuring effective pasteurization and our systems are designed to provide that repeatability.  Our Steam Pasteurization kills specific pathogens without altering the taste or texture of the product, or the ability for the living nut to germinate, thus allowing organic food labels to be applied.
